I bought me this football for my husband and he says it is by far the best football he's ever owned. He plays QB in a couple Flag Football leagues and all his teammates comment on how they like catching this football because of the grip. If you are looking for a football that has grip and easy to throw a perfect spiral this football is for you.

I never realized how many different types of footballs are made. Real leather, composite or plastic, NFL, collegiate, Canadienne, Youth size. Too much stuff to choose from. I wanted a no frills football to bring to cookouts, beach or park to throw around. I chose the Wilson F1845 NFL Ultimate Composite for the size and I like the way it looked.
After an entire summer of use, the ball is in great condition considering the abuse. Very few scuff marks besides the normal ones from scraping against concrete, trees, and grass. Stitching is completely unbroken, and the corners (I don't know what you call the ends) have tiny bits of impact wear. There is one ding about 1/2 cm from hitting the edge of a metal pipe. The dimples are slightly worn in a few areas and show some discoloration which I assume is from the concrete. The laces are in perfect shape. Gold letter outlines show normal wear and scratches. Even the barcode is intact. and I've only had to refill it once since May. (It's September now)
It's even been used for diving catches in the pool and still feels tacky after four months of use. It can use a little bit of air but still throwable. Based off of the usage from this past summer, I don't see myself buying another football for a few years. That of course is assuming it won't be punctured.
If your football is in perfect shape after one season of use, you're not using it enough...
