Shoulder pads were not sturdy enough, even for a two year old. The pads looked the part, and even though my two year old nephew only had pads for two weeks, and only wore them around the house, the plastic began to break.

I purchased these for my son for his Halloween costume. They are perfect. I was a little concerned when I saw how small the box was but once I opened it and tried them on him they were a perfect fit and will definitely work for the costume. They are not meant for anything but that and for the price ($7) I think you get what you pay for. I have no complaints and I'm happy with this purchase.
